    Hi hope you can help.

My (old) folks are looking for a decent TV.

Should have both excellent picture and excellent sound, especially clarity for speech.

Will be used for watching sports (football, golf) so picture needs to be suitable for that (or I'll never hear the end of it!).

Also will be used for watching Netflix and general TV drama shows, hence the speech aspect.

    4K will suffice, don't need 8k.
Budget is around 1k, max 1300 of there's an excellent recommendation.

Possibly something around 55 to 60 inch.
Main models like Sony, Samsung, LG, or...

They already have a (8 year old) smart Samsung, so they're used to that interface.
So I guess that could be a clincher if it comes that close.

Would rather buy an older discounted top model rather than a brand new model, more bang for buck so to speak.

I've bought from you myself which was a seamless experience.
    Hence my return.

    Any recommendations please?
