Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

This is on a knife edge already. Germany simply have to score; against the most lethal of counter attackers good luck with that

The Germans should have been slapping that water bottle out of Ronnie's hand. Surely they know that stuff is like rocket fuel to the man?

Just give the German goalie a bottle of coca cola as his refreshment and Ronnie won't enter the penalty box!

    Delighted for Germany

The issue is never the issue; the issue is always the revolution.

The Entryism process: 1) Demand access; 2) Demand accommodation; 3) Demand a seat at the table; 4) Demand to run the table; 5) Demand to run the institution; 6) Run the institution to produce more activists and policy until they run it into the ground.

    Shut up Kenny

I'm not a big fan of him as a co-commentator, I wouldn't want to listen to myself as a co-commentator and I have the same accent.

But I thought that was a fair point re: if the player is offf for a concussion check the team should be able to sub someone in temporarily.

Oh ya, that's fine. It's his obsession with water breaks is doing my head in :)

How come in this tournament the referee usually blows the whistle about 10 seconds before the time is up? It's been happening in every match I've seen, half time and full time....

    Weird.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,673 ✭✭✭AllGunsBlazing

Still think Portugal are capable of grinding out a point against the French.

    Weird.

Apparently the tv time and ref time are out by 10-15 seconds.

Ronaldo really is an astonishing athlete. Best player on the pitch by a mile. Nice to see him having the chat with Kroos at the end of the game. Very decent guy.

I reckon in that instance germany just recognised the accents and the old synapses started firing?! Didn’t Bayern crush Barca too, sometimes it’s just like some higher level of smarts that outdoes even that level of skill
