Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Well lads. After months of looking I finally landed a job and I'm starting Monday. Super excited and can't wait. Anyway, anyone know wheres a good place in Limerick to get some work pants or jeans. Lockdown hasn't been good to me and I'm a fairly big guy at over 6ft 2 and badly need to loose weight. I often struggle to get pants that fit so I need some fairly big pants. Any suggestions. Cheers guys.

Your height won't be an issue as much as your waist.
I am 6'5" and with a 34" inseam never have much of an issue finding pants.

What will be an issue is that there's no changing rooms in play.
That makes try before you buy tough.
You could try one of the proper menswear shops around the city?
Diegnans, Noel's, Connollys are the lads on Catherine St (whose name escapes me).
Or if you have a pair of pants that are currently fitting you comfortably, get the sizes from there and go wild.

Fit wise, I find Dunnes usually to be roomiest in jeans, but penny's aren't bad either.
It very much comes down to what you want to spend.
Chinos with stretch panel are an option too and Dunnes do a version too iirc.

Good luck in the new job.

Try Mike O’Connell on Catherine St, he does larger sizes. Congratulations on the job.

I was looking for a couple of pairs of jeans specifically for work a couple of weeks ago, didn’t need anything fancy, picked up two pairs for €15 euro each in Dunnes at Jetland, seem fine

Dunnes have like 40 inch waist, I think there's a big and tall website you can try. Congrats on the job btw

Ers on the dock Rd have a large selection of work wear mainly snickers, Screwfix have a good variety of work wear with different brands but you have to spend a bit of time on their website trying to see what would suit and then check if it is then in stock.
Congrats on securing the job 👍

The Co-Op in Raheen have work pants and I think Woodies stock them too but to a lesser degree. As already mentioned ERS have a good stock too.

Mike O'Connell Menswear is definitely worth a visit for jeans or non work gear - the staff there are excellent.

    Congrats on the job.
