    Hi folks
    Just got a new phone which is great. However all my apps, texts, FB etc show a number next to the icon if I have a notification, new email etc apart from WhatsApp

    I have checked and all my notifications are turned on.

    If I go to settings and notifications, and WhatsApp, at the bottom it has in app notification settings, in there it says popup notifications are no longer available in your version of android but no idea why.
