    In the show, teams nominate two chefs to face elimination. Gordon chooses from the two (usually) and sends one home.

    Alpha wolf seems to be protected somehow from showdowns. Hitch implies there is some mechanics in play and not a straight forward elimination anyway.

    You have 30 minutes after lynch to create a show down dish with parts of the lynched player that would accompany a nice chianti
