The thread about 1l cartons of vegetable soup reminded me that French supermarkets sell large tins (680g?) of Petit Salé aux Lentilles and Cassoulet. Aldi and Lidl used to sell them every so often, and at a good price, but I haven't seen them for years. Anywhere stock them nowadays?

Their website's not exactly a mine of information , but they mention gourmet cassoulet, and

Tin Cans : Beans, Lentils, Ratatouille, Saucisses Lentilles, Ravioli, Choucroute, Tartiflettes, Blanquette de veau, Volailles de quenelles

looks promising.

I wonder what tinned tartiflette is like. I think Lidl did a frozen version in their French weeks. Don't know if they still do. We make it with taleggio now because reblochon difficult to get.
