Worth registration for business/tax

    Hello all!

    I work full-time and I have a small side business/website. I don't make much money off it (maybe 300-500 per year) but just recently one of my clients sent me a form to fill in the companies VAT/TAX details.

    I had sent a tax registration form to Revenue already just to get the vat/tax number but I think I regret it as this is the only client I may need it for...

    Just wondering if anyone thinks it is worth registration for tax/vat number?
    Also, If I give the client my personal PPS, will this hinder my normal full-time pay for the month???
