Sweden's government was toppled on Monday after Stefan Lofven became the country's first prime minister to lose a no-confidence vote.

This was bound to happen sooner or later considering the many scandals the Social Democrats have been involved in. Amazingly it was a small thing about rent control that triggered the Left party to finally withdraw support for the government.

The nationalist Sweden Democrats seized the chance to call the vote of no confidence and today the government toppled.
