Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

He often gets the blame but we are looking back with the current lens of national sovereignty, such notions didn't really exist back then.

We were only ever united under the Brits as they say.

This is yet another thread with a handful of regulars naming people they hate.

    Boring.

Not really a turncoat, he was never really loyal to Ireland.

And neither were his enemies, all for their own kingdom.

Pre dated "tans", hardly a tan.

Civil servant would be more accurate.

    Turn cloaks?

Never came across it before now, must be variation on 'turn coats' which has always been the term since I was a kid. Maybe turn cloaks is an old version from when people wore cloaks?

It's an invented word from something called Fire and Ice. The same person wrote Game of Thrones apparently.

I honestly wouldn't put them together.

Plenty of players switch after only playing underage...
Rice is a disgrace though playing for the men's team kissing the badge literally then switched...tosser.

No. A turn cloak is a turncoat who doesn't have a coat, but does have a cloak. If you have neither you are just a turn.
