    Hi,
We just got our lawn re-done by a landscaper, there is a lot of pebbles (less than 10mm) and a few stones on the surface.

He said the pebbles and stones are needed for drainage ? Is this right ? Should they be buried under the soil or be sitting on the surface ? Will the grass grow over the pebbles and stones ?

    Thanks

    KM

This is perfectly normal. Pick the big ones, leave the small ones. The small ones will disappear after a while. Pull any big weeds by hand. Keep it watered in dry weather and just let it do its thing for now.
