Hard Water and Hair Washing

I've just bought and moved into a new house in an area I love. All is great except its a hard water area and my hair feels awful after washing it. I'm going to get a water softener put onto the mains but I don't have that kind of money at the moment to prioritise it.

Does anyone have any tips or tricks for stopping my hair feeling like it needs to be washed when its only on day 2!I can usually get 3/4 days out of my hair.

I know the heat right now won't be helping but it wouldn't usually be like this.

I've heard good things about the Color Wow Dream Filter range which is supposed to remove build up from your hair. Seems to be a bit of a cult product and gets really good reviews although I haven't used it personally.

Fit a filtering Shower head or try a vinegar rinse other than that bottled water.
