4k upgrade from a Optoma HD142X Full HD 1080p

    hi team,
    I currently have a Optoma HD142X Full HD 1080p. Birthday coming up soon so looking to upgrade to a 4k.
    My budget is €1000 +/- €200
    Can you let me know you opinion on 
    a.) will the upgrade be worth it in terms of picture quality
    b.) what are good options in my price range

    FYI: It will be connected to sky /  xbox / firestick via AV amp

    Thanks for the post!

    Upgrading from the Optoma HD14X to a 4K projector would definitely be worth it as not only will get get a better image resolution but improved motion and colour.

    If you're looking for a good one around that budget I would recommend the Optoma UHD38 at 1199 euro! It's a fantastic, high spec'd projector with a much higher contrast ratio than the HD142X and better brightness. It's a great upgrade over your current projector:

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph.
