    Hey guys,

Any help here would be greatly appreciated.

I applied for illness benefit online on my welfare, it’s showing as awarded a few hours later.

I assumed the money awarded would be received the next day ( being today ) but I haven’t received anything to my bank yet or any notification/email on the my welfare site.

Does anyone know how long it normally takes to be paid after being awarded? or what day of the week it’s normally paid on.

    Thank you

Up to 2 years or when sw deems you recovered:

Expect unexpected visit from social welfare officer to your address.

I think you may have missed the actual question.

OP, generally when payment is awarded its processed a few days later, keep in mind your not paid for what's called waiting days (first 3, used to be 6). I presume your GP submitted incapacity form or did you with your online application? Finally apart from those lost waiting days, your payment should be back dated to the date of application. I think I've COVERED everything, others may have additional observations, good luck and welcome to Board's
