Does the mother think it's ok for the daughter to drink underage, what if the daughter got in to a disco using the passport and was rode sideways afterwards, would the man be to blame?

So her daughter used a fake passport "all be it her sisters" and it was confiscated and destroyed.... or am I missing something?

Don't expect the lazy gardai to follow this up

  • Registered Users Posts: 26,982 ✭✭✭✭Dempo1

This is extraordinary, hard enough to get a passport.

  • Registered Users Posts: 9,013 ✭✭✭shearforce

  • Registered Users Posts: 39,594 ✭✭✭✭Dan Jaman

You can just imagine how entitled this one's daughters feel.

The show seems to be presenting the idea that identity fraud is ok?

  • Is this mother for real? She’s condoning underage drinking… possibly years later will phone in giving out about lack of therapy available for all the young people who had been peddled alcohol at a young age.

A 'stupid mistake' would be trying to use Sterling notes to pay for drinks.

  • Registered Users Posts: 26,982 ✭✭✭✭Dempo1

Whatever the circumstances, a bar person can not confiscate a passport. One set of Gardai seemed to be saying they were aware and complicate , another set saying its illegal.

This really is extraordinary. That said bringing a passport to a concert seems foolish.

imagine having the self entitlement to ring a national broadcaster about this? Just think about that. My own mother would laugh at my own stupidity and that would be the end of it

It should be policy to seize the passports.

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,780 ✭✭✭leath_dub

Yes you are condoning fraud, Missus!
