Oh no, back to the citizen information shiteeeeee

  • Registered Users Posts: 33,048 ✭✭✭✭gmisk

....I can already tell she is a volunteer given her tone...

Legally you probably are incapable to do the job you were doing...sorry but it's probably the truth.

  • Registered Users Posts: 17,960 ✭✭✭✭Busi_Girl08

The way this woman is talking it sound like the service is more for the volunteers than for the public, who it's actually meant to serve.

  • Registered Users Posts: 33,048 ✭✭✭✭gmisk

Joe still pissed with Fiona Coyne for not coming on da show....literally obsessed

Swiping at Citizens Information again? Another day on the farm for Joseph tomorrow so.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,078 ✭✭✭bcklschaps

    What was broke ?

The volunteers simply weren't up to the job Joe....and because they weren't proper employees, they couldn't be forced to upskill etc.

  • Registered Users Posts: 17,960 ✭✭✭✭Busi_Girl08

I don't believe for a second that there hasn't been anyone who rang to complain about the poor advice they received from a misinformed volunteer at CI.

    Bobby Kerr on now

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,649 ✭✭✭Luckycharms_74

Q: How do you know someone is a volunteer with the Citizen information center.

    A : They will tell you 🙄

    A mine of information.

    A mine of information.

    A mine of information.

The problem is I assume that a portion of the information given to the public is garbage.

    M

If they are worth nearly €4k they will be gone by sunrise tomorrow either by who delivered them or a 'specialist in discreet removals' so to speak, he gave the address of the road it was on earlier.

I assume that assumption is the hallmark of both the Liveline caller and the Liveline thread poster.

I enjoyed the rsj story. The hole scooby dooing was a bit of craic.

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,591 ✭✭✭avfc1874

The last fool. Who rang in about the rsj, after listening to everyone giving their expertise had the case cracked,

Joe I reckon they were left at the wrong address,. No **** Sherlock

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,591 ✭✭✭avfc1874

I think 🤔 we got some extra stupid listeners today, classic lines,

    What colour are they.

RSJ stands for reinforced steel GIRDER

They were definitely going to be used to rob a bank

I don't know anything about the rsj's Joe but years ago my neighbor got my delivery of top soil. Wow 😳

If you don't like them in your front garden, I'll call around and put them in your back garden (for a price)

And then Sherlock Holmes at the end, I've listened to all the evidence Joe and the conclusion that I've come to is they could, now I'm fairly sure on this,. I'd be fairly confident in saying that maybe just maybe they were delivered to the wrong address, and he probably didn't order them,,,, ,

    WOW 😳.

I wonder could Joe get Enoch Burke on the show (and some of his headcase family) when he has finished serving toyme for his croyme. That could be car crash levels of gold

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,317 ✭✭✭gameoverdude

    Detective in the making.

I quite enjoyed it actually. Bit of harmless, unusual fun.

RTE missed a trick not getting Noel Kenny to sign up the Burke's for an autumnal TV series

"...no Joe, you rang me !..." A.Caller.

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,086 ✭✭✭Jeff2

Joe on the RTE show The way we were.

Joe "my mother who lived in 19 places before in Dublin she was 90 and after 60 years in ballyfermot she was able to buy the home with out any help from anyone else."

The least you could do Joe was buy it for her and sell later.

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,747 ✭✭✭ShamNNspace

Watched it before, nice old footage but ruined by the usual parade of talking heads with their nonsense... get rid of them and the programmes would have been immeasurably brtter imv

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,086 ✭✭✭Jeff2

In Joes math his mother would have had to move 18 times before she was 30yo.

It’s patently obvious there is no such thing as a caller driven show on RTE. Claire Byrne has just gone from discussing the NI protocol to ,

wait for it , NITS. A caller driven show ( if one was really worried about infections, they don’t bother me) they would want to discuss rabies - the amount of pets coming in. TB threat from migrants coming from all over. M M said it’s because of Britain threatening to send them to Africa. I firmly believe it’s because they were all promised their own front door within a few months and the end of DP.

Joe and de Matty Matticks are not de best of friends so to speak.

  • Registered Users Posts: 53,028 ✭✭✭✭ButtersSuki

You'd think with the money he has been on for decades that he would have bought the house for her? Like what would it have cost in the 90s? Half-nothing. But like Tubs Joe doesn't seem to like parting with his own money.

I may be conflating two families but were the Burkes the family of "Independent Critical Thinkers" we had on a good few years ago?
