Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Duffy tring desperately to make a scandal out of paying prize bond prizes.

Last time I tried to get some forden exchange the Post Office had a limit of €200 a transaction without photo ID, with none to hand I simply travelled to 3 different Post Offices within my journey and got what I needed, I felt like Bernie Madoff 😁

There's no way 40 million pieces of paper fit in to a drum.

There's people phoning in hoping get their dead dad's £5 win from 1961 now without even having the prize bond.

Wonder how much the uncle left in his will.

That's not correct. When my grandfather died about 400 Punts of prize bounds were found. On in enquiry it was found they had won about 20-30 quid. The whole lot were cashed in. The gas part is that when the bonds were purchased you would have bought a new car for the same amount of money.

This one struggling to understand how Anna from An Post doesn't personally know the situation with her father who lived in the UK and died in 1984. Are there any Prize Bonds there for him? Did anyone else claim them since he died? I'm surprised Anna didn't tell her to feck off.

wait so 100 pounds in 1960s was an awful lot of money but a fiver to buy the bond wasn't much?

They run the draw from an Atari 2600, offline so as secure as it gets.

Joe, ask her about the CB Licence computer system.
