Joe isn’t the only one not to be able to pronounce forden names. I hear Claire Byrne (& others) pronounce Hungarian politician Péter Magyar’s surname as Mag-yar. Magyar translates as “Hungarian” and is prounced “Maw-jar” . A quick google demonstrates pronunciation so I can’t understand incorrect pronunciation by media people these days.

Cue people talking waffle about the lenght of the ballot papers, complicating something that wasn't complicated, Joe being the biggest complicater of all.

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,236 ✭✭✭LambshankRedemption

Joe is not complicated. He's just an ordinary wurker from Ballyfermah. He's not even a champagne socialist, more of a Red TK lemonade socialist.

I wunder will Joe set a week aside to do 5 shows on the EU banning of smokey bacon flavouring in crisps.

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,236 ✭✭✭LambshankRedemption

That at least is a current affair and an issue close to the heart of many. Even closer to the heart of some if you keep your crisps in your breast pocket.

41 years ago, at Christmas time. Why is he discussing it now?

My uncle was a Garda and part of that search in those woods. But for the grace of God, he could have died that day.

Joe: He was the local publican and under-taker, and very popular in the community.

Well thats unheard of in Ireland.

There's always a price to pay for enjoyment 😂.

I'd assume you're likely looking at smoked salmon getting a ban too.
