Just wondering if anyone else pondered whether stone circles were painted? Anyone else have any thoughts on this? This is one of the Athgreany stones, I had to change brightness and contrast to see features on the stone, then when I considered the colour change I thought of paint or other colouring effects of the Bronze…

Hi cfuser, interesting thought, there is a stone up the Comeraghs that is painted white I believe, looking lime washed, I don’t know who « started it « and when. https://www.komoot.com/highlight/2991478
