This is Outside Source on BBC News - Or is it?.......Uh-Oh!

    BBC News has got embroiled in a little bit of awkward controversy this week. It had completed a recent rebrand of Outside Source not too long ago which is run & funded by BBC World News. However this programme is also simulcasted every night on the BBC News Channel in the UK. The rebrand of Outside Source had included a new logo this year which was meant to replace the old one which was unveiled when it was a new programme in 2015. In the most awkward of circumstances imaginable; it turns out that the new Outside Source logo is the same one as a well known music organisation who have headquarters located up in Scotland.

    Yep. That's right. You're not seeing things folks. You are seeing two logos here that look the exact same as each other. It just looks so awkward & embarassing from the BBC's pov. These guys have basically wasted a ton of money to rebrand this programme after it was temporarily suspended because of the pandemic. After some calls were made between both parties. The BBC have agreed to change their new logo again to keep the people who run the Scottish Opera organisation happy.
