Does anyone have any advice on how best to get rid of this? It is infesting one side of our garden and is proving difficult to get rid of.

It will do that alright! A real pest. You just have to use glyphosate on each leaf, and keep at it until it ceases to return. If even a fragment remains alive, it will come right back.

Thanks, that's what we are doing, but it's like whac-a-mole at the moment. It is a persistent pest
