Hildagarde trying to suggest big bad SF calling into question, civil servants integrity, Mariam had to ask her to stop talking 🤣🤣

Miriam O trying the Sarah Mc vibe:

'Hildegard Naughton!! Will you stop talking!'

RTE now joining the rest of the media laying out the absolute sham of the FOI system in place.

    Interesting.

I'm not particularly anti Fine Gael or Zappone but this whole debacle is very worrying.

The role which clearly made up for Zappone would have carried a lot of prestige. It's not about the salary it is the status the post would have conferred on Zappone.

The only defence you could give Covenney is that he did not see the role as particularly important, but the blatant lies, since the story broke, deleting texts has damaged Covenney considerably. Maybe not in hardline FG supporters but definitely among the floating voters.

This was Boris Johnson, or Trump levels of lies when the truth is clearly visible.

Now a feature on the FOI act , hope Simon watching this . I sense a lot of Journalists across numerous outlets fuming on this particular issue and that's enough for them to keep digging 😏

So funny RTE preaching about freedom of information when they run a complete closed shop in terms of recruitment.

RTE Politics...who reckons Miriam stamped her foot and said she was doing the Zappone slot? 😁

Hildergard could only filibuster as she had no legs to stand on. Why do people put up with this **** and vote TD's like Hildergard back in?

Always amazes me how Zappone got away with 80,000 euros worth of false expenses that the taxpayer had to pay for. Its a pair of handcuffs she should be put in, not a job in the UN.

Could you imagine the damage she would have done in New York with a government sponsored credit card? She would have been straight to Macys to drop $20k on clothes and that would only have been the start of it. The fact FG were willing to allow her live the high life in New York while the Irish taxpayer footed the bill says a lot about their priorities as well.

Another weak FG minister on the Tonight show.

Going by this, i imagine it's quite nice.

‘Put my doorman back on’ — Zappone refuses to comment on cronyism scandal from plush NY apartment

I deeply suspect my imagining of things will be a bit more realistic than your imagining that "Coveney wouldn't be conducting govt business by text message" Allinall......🤣

Your gotcha moment will come, it just isn't going to be tonight auld hand.

It is ironic , half its staff related to each other, Nepotism is enshrined in their HR Hand book, its disgusting . Presenters should just say, over to my daughter, son, cousin, nephew twice removed etc etc 😏

Why has Mcinerney being demoted to the recorded pieces and Miriam doing the live interview?

The government press office must have been on to RTE to keep Mcinerney away from their politicians or there will be no more bailout.

Kappone let down the Mother and Baby home survivors for years. Delay after delay. We still haven't seen progress on the Tuam mass grave.
