Many parts of Kerry are without water at the moment due a mains break at the Central Regional Water Supply Scheme, which was repaired late last night and the water is slowly being turned on.. There are water tankers being distributed to various locations. Copied from Tralee today article:

FOUR water tankers are to be located in Tralee from 12 noon today.

The public can bring their water containers to O’Donnells in Mounthawk, the Brandon Car Park (already in place), Our Lady and St Brendans Church and Manor Shopping Centre.

There will also be tankers in the Clogher Churchyard Ballymacelligott, Firies Churchyard, Abbeydorney village, the Rock Road in Killarney, Cordal Graveyard and Barraduff Community Centre, all from 12 noon.

It is important to note that water from the tankers must be boiled before usage. Civil Defence volunteers will assist customers at all locations.

Hopefully water will be back on soon! Updates on Kerry County Council's facebook page Kerry County Council | Facebook

Still no actual time of when we can expect the water to be back on. We were told it would be coming back this evening, but Hearing it may not be until tomorrow, hopefully that's not true.

The water appears to be back in many parts of the county. Ours only came back at 8am this morning in Tralee.
