Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Maybe a bit of an odd one, but basically I've a n elderly relative in hospital that loves his Midwest radio. He's been there a while and wouldn't be the most tech savvy, so he's getting fairly restless.

Just wondering if mid west can be tuned in around Galway city?

    Any help appreciated

Midwest should be easily picked up there on 96.1 with a decent radio

That's fantastic, thanks for help. Any fairly user friendly analog radio you recommend?

    Looking at Roberts Radio R9993, saw a Sony ICF-P36 and a ICF306.CE7

as said, Mid-west is generally available with decent reception in Galway city on 96.1, you’ll definitely find it on your car radio, but reception might be a bit flakey on a small radio inside the walls of the hospital.

If a traditional radio doesn’t work too well, Internet radio is another option, via a smart phone - I’m sure the station has a phone app with live streaming or you can use the TuneIn app. Or the likes of an Alexa or Google home would do it. The hospital has free WiFi.
