Hopefully in right forum if not mods move

Have modem in the front room and hard wired into PC in the office. Wifi in the office not great and have wifi plug but still slow

Got a Desktop switch https://www.tp-link.com/us/home-networking/5-port-switch/tl-sg105/ not sure what V version?

So plan is to feed wire into the switch and then 1 lead to TV, 1 to Android box and one to Desktop

Would this work and would speeds be affected or anything slow down esp on PC

    Thanks

    Edit:

sorry double posted and then when tried to delete one i lost both :-)

So basically this a good idea all round and will help with connectivity to all devices.

Take cable from modem and put it into one port on the SG105 and take cables from the 105 to each both you want connected. Simple as that.
