Hi all,

interested in purchasing a house that was built in the early 80s.
Plan would be to knock a couple of walls, new kitchen, bathroom etc nothing major structurally. Has anyone any experience in dealing with this era of house and what common issues we may come across? Would we need to upgrade certain things to be in line with current building regs? Trying to figure out whether or not we can make an offer and not be surprised with thousands of unexpected euro to be spent on the house.
