"Before you continue to Google Search"

Hi all, I'm having a problem when going to google.com after opening Firefox. The first time I load the page after opening Firefox, I constantly get a screen titled "Before you continue to Google Search" followed by information about cookies, personalisation, etc. I'm given two options, to either Customise or Agree. It doesn't matter which one I choose: the next time I open Firefox and go to google.com, the same screen pops up again. I've checked my settings in Firefox, and it's set to not delete cookies and site data when Firefox is closed. This is very annoying, and it doesn't happen if I use Chrome. Can anyone suggest a possible solution?

there is two settings in firefox for that, under Cookies and Site Data and another one under History

Are you using "private tabs"? On my phone its set up to open links in a private tab by default.

You should be happy that no nasty trackers left from previous browsing sessions
