    • AMD Ryzen™ 9 5900 (12-Core, 70MB Total Cache, Max Boost Clock of 4.7GHz)
    • Windows 10 Home 64bit, English, Dutch, French, German, Italian
    • NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 3080 10GB GDDR6X
    • 32GB Dual Channel DDR4 XMP at 3200MHz; up to 128GB (additional memory sold separately)
    • 1TB M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD (Boot) + 2TB 7200RPM SATA 6Gb/s (Storage)
    • Dark Side of the Moon chassis with High-Performance CPU Liquid Cooling and 1000W Power Supply

    for €3,149

Considering a 3080 will set you back as much as €1500 at the minute this seems not so terrible?

Lenovo Legion is a good alternative, standard components so easier to fix/replace in future.

    RTX 3070 - €2'000

    RTX 3080 - €3'010

Annoyingly, NZXT BLD is well-priced but only available in Germany, Italy, Austria, France & Netherlands.

Not sure how accurate this is but GN are usually spot on.

The one thing that puts me off with Alienware/Dell, unless things have changed, it's their own version of a 3080, or well known motherboard, psu, etc. Making future upgrade paths difficult.

GamersNexus actually gave the Dell OEM version of RTX 3090 a passing grade, I would assume the 3080 has a similar cooler so should be okay.

Their higher-wattage PSUs also tend to be 80+ Platinum-level (very good!)

Also any GPU has to meet a minimum baseline of performance - there's really no such thing as "their own version of 3080" - every 3080 will perform equal at the same temps. It's all about if the cooling is good enough to stop thermal throttling.

I just ordered a 3080 from pcspecialist.ie for e950. Not sure if its because I ordered my previous pc from them in April and then went the upgrade path.

But I found them to be very well priced etc as normally I always build my computers but this time around they were only about 50 euros dearer than buying the components myself and at least they test it before it gets to me. Very happy with their service to be honest.

How did you order a 3080 from them? I thought they only sold complete builds.

they offer a upgrade service if you've previously brought a pc from them. I bought mine in April and you can upgrade the components via their site etc.
