Hear Scheme points reduction

Son has applied for all the colleges that offer primary teaching, and is eligible to apply under the Hear Scheme. We havent been able to find anything online to indicate the points reduction that he might expect. Got his LC results yesterday, 470 points, and we can see that last year points for primary teaching seemed to be in the region of 484 ( marino) to 507 (maynooth). I realize the points are likely going to rise this year, but just wondered if anyone might know if he would stand any chance of getting in through Hear Scheme, or indeed which college offers the most Hear places for primary school? I guess he is likely to fall short by the region of 30 points, perhaps this is too much of a shortfall to get in under Hear? Thanks for any advice.
