Connecting Flights -Europe Covid Rules

Hi, I have to travel to Switzerland for work and will be returning to Dublin via connecting flight through Germany. Will I need to check the entry requirements for Germany also for Covid rules even though I am just passing through? TIA

Current German COVID rules require you to fill out a passenger locator form if you've been in certain regions of Ireland in the past 10 days. You can find it on https://www.einreiseanmeldung.de/
This applies even for 'in transit' travels.

is the flight booked on the one ticket? Or have you booked 2 separate flights

1 ticket= you remain airside and do not enter the country

2 tickets= You are entering the country and need to comply
