Browns @ Chiefs looks fairly tasty. Repeat of one of the better playoff games from January and will probably tell us a good bit about both teams.

Good slate of games for week 1 to be honest, Bills/Steelers and Patriots/Dolphins is interesting too.

They all look kinda interesting at this stage. The middle slot on Sunday looks pretty spicy. It's great to be back.

Did I miss something where the falcons have markedly improved that shambles of a defence from last season ? Shockingly the eagles fans picks the eagles to win, and all the experts seem to be down on them but that’s fine because I think they will win on Sunday and will have a better season then most think because we have a QB this season who hasn’t dropped off a cliff physically and mentally and was a disaster and had to be molly coddled to protect his feelings, and the Oline is healthy and there’s a young receiving Corps that has potential to be very good.

I think it might that the falcons are at home. It was a toss up for me. The Eagles new HC doesn't inspire much confidence from the clips I've seen. The falcons will go back to running the ball with Ryan off play action like the titans last year

I use the SuperBru pool rather than picking on here but I went for the Falcons there because they are at home and have a more settled QB situation. I wouldn’t have much confidence in that pick however, and would not be at all surprised if the Eagles win the game. I’m sticking with Atlanta though.

Week one is always hard to gauge, we will all probably get half our predictions wrong.

I was right on the fence on that one. What tilted me was home advantage and much more faith in Arthur Smith and Ryan putting together an impactful and potentially surprising game plan than Sirianni and Hurts (who you have a lot more confidence in than I do - feel like you'll be picking another QB early next year). You're right that the Falcon's defense is a complete disaster so could easily mess it up for the Falcon's Offense.

Yes, I am higher on Jalen hurts than you are because 1) he’s not Carson Wentz, and 2) he showed some spark of talent which Wentz didn’t last year. Even accounting for the issues the eagles had on both sides of the ball, which every team has btw, Wentz contributed an amazing amount to how bad the team was. Ask any eagles fan on this forum who like me probably watched every minute of every game last season and they’ll likely as negative reaction to Wentz as I did.

I can definitely see that positive perspective based on that QB switch - especially as I spent most of last season watching a QB starting who was cut by the Eagles this offseason. Grim times lead to preseason hope

Hate the single digit linebacker/Safety/CB shirts. Doesn't look right.

what a punt! tough start for the Cowboys....interesting to see how Dak looks after last years injury.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,700 ✭✭✭MileHighGuy

tough run from Elliot on 3rd. Thought the Buccs had him dead to rights short.

Couple of throws behind Ceedee Lamb on that last series. I wonder just how healthy that shoulder is for Dak.
