Luttrellstown Community College - New Prefabs?

    Anyone know what the story is with the prefabs recently erected on the grounds of (I presume) Luttrellstown Community College at the corner of the Porterstown Road that leads on towards Dr. Troy bridge? Didn't see anything on their website.

    The college itself was extensively extended in the Porterstown Road direction about two years ago and it looked well. At the time however they left a lot of scrub land in the corner field which I had expected them to convert to playing fields or other such school amenities but now for the past few months work has been ongoing to lay foundations for a load of prefabs. Are these part of the school property? Surely they weren’t that short sighted when extending the school that they now need to extend again with terrible looking prefabs.

    Prefabs are going to host some classes while there is work going on in the main school building, and the permanent building for D15s gaelcholaiste Coláiste an Tulchann (the Aonad for which LCC is moot her school currently) will be on site there.
