    Hi,

Can anyone advise? Had a guy out today re changing out our 20 year old gas boiler (potterton). We are a 4 bed semi, 10 rads. He advised an ideal logic 18 kw (10 year guarantee parts and labour), and 5 trvs with climote (we currently have netatmo). He said to put the trvs in the bedroom and one in the kitchen furthest away from the cooker (we have 2 rads in the kitchen) but not in the hallway/sitting room. Did mention i wanted it zoned upstairs downstairs and heating and he said 5 trvs should be enough. Is this correct (to be fair he did say we could put them on all rads if we wanted!) Just want to make sure we future proof ourselves as much as possible. Plus i did ask about veissman and he still recommended ideal logic, plus it would require running wires from the attic to the outside and down the external wall in order to communicate with the boiler AND a pipe to be ran from the back of the boiler externally as condenser. anyone any advice regardibg the model, number of trvs, dont really want more hassle than its worth re wires/more pipes on the external wall.

Any recommendations on the best approach would also be great as total newbie
