Is Duraphat worth it?

So my dentist gave me a script for Duraphat with the 5000ppm strength about a month ago. It seems to be working a fair bit but it's quite pricey (€20 for a tube). She says I don't necessarily need it but it helps with getting the enamel strong. Is it really that beneficial?

Less sugar and good nutritious food especially rich with K2 will make your teeth even stronger.
