It really is - and even some of the matches VS 60 something rated teams that you would expect to win are a struggle. You know it's bad when you find yourself doing a goal celebration in SB 😂

Just in case you're not aware, you don't have to play the tougher higher rated squads, you can update opponents and it'll give you a new set of 4.

Opened this and got Mbappe from the player pick.

A game changer if ever there was one. I'd usually struggle along to qualify for Fut Champs winning on the last game to get the 5 etc.. Or needing to qualify again

Walked through it this time. Won 5 and lost 1.

they had to do something. WL mode was dying a death, numbers are hugely down and if people aren't playing WL mode nobody has any interest in watching other people play it then. Everything EA has done had been to the detriment of the the player base just to grab more money off people.

Battlefield 2042 has been an utter disaster for them. Game is at least a year too early, they've sacrificed a lot of the vanilla gameplay for 128 player maps , and its obviously that they're gearing up for microtransactions as regards specialists.

On Steam which granted wouldn't be a huge portion of their player base they've dropped from 100k players a day to just over 18.5k. Within a month. That's absolutely unheard of in terms of Battlefield as it always inspires a huge loyalty following and players have been running away in droves from it.

They've started to walk back in that too bring back 64 player maps across Portal etc. But this seems to be a company wide direction at EA... to hell with game quality and rip off people at much as possible.

There must be a serious dropoff in players if EA are making it easier to qualify for the WL. I'm defo playing a lot less than last year. I get my 7 rivals wins, qualify for and get Rank 2 in the WL every week. Outside of that, I've no interest in doing objectives, squad battles, or icon swaps. Seems very easy to have a competitive team so no real need to grind.

I've 1.5M in coins that I'm particularly bothered spending because I don't really think I'll massively improve my team. I've had Mbappe, Neymar, Ginola etc etc but I'm as competitive with gold Salah and RB Bamba as my strikers at the moment. It's like they've broken the economy by having all these cheap and excellent players.

Yeah, listen I know it's not news that Mbappe is good but I'm a little taken back by just how good he is for a gold card.

He has 18 goals in 14 games. All champions qualifies and Div1 Rivals. Has made a massive difference to the slog that champions qualifies usually are

Yeh I got him in a free pack as part of an SBC.

He is genuinely ridiculous in the game - Can really score from nothing and sometimes I think Goalkeepers/Opposition do stupid things just because it's Mbappe.

You would've packed his gold version on Friday when they were out of packs for a couple of hours and they compensated anyone who got the wrong one with the correct version.

Already have his RB version and he's useless for anything other than coming on as a sub and seeing a game out. Way too slow.

Decided to call it quits on the swaps the SB's are just not worth the effort. Tool the 25X81 and 25X82 for fodder. Pulled Ter Stagen, Llorante and Kimmich who will go into my team and a while heap of fodder, picked up the Wild Card Pau Torres in an objective, card is very good quick and has great defending.

I think I'm settled with the front three,

Storyline Heil - Robbie Keane - IF Sterling just absolutely insane.. Heil is my favourite free card so far.

Bloody hell, that SBC for the party bag and the token just emptied my trade pile 🤣

95 IF cards in my trade pile. Hit realist without checking prices, and 37 cards sold instantly. After five minutes, it’s at 70 of 95 sold. It’s been years since that payday worked but I’m in the money now. 5-7k profit per card, and had 400k in the bank, so quick math is saying I should have about 2m liquid tonight.

I'm tempted to buy him cause I've never really used him before, and he's in the price bracket I can afford. Not sure if he's worth such a massive investment. Also not sure if I want the Mid, or the baby AND 90 Bruno.
