Phone wiring

Looking for any help on this. Spent a while trying to figure it out but most of the threads with good info are now missing links and pictures. I have images of the wires coming into the house and then the box for the modem and the phone. I just have no idea what goes where.

Trying to connect up ethernet and the telephone.

They were disconnected during renovations.

Any help appreciated. If it's not that easy to do and I would need to call an electrician that's ok.

The Cush

The 2 wires with the copper loops appear to be the active pair, if you have a multimeter to check there should be 50v DC on them. Connect them to the external line L1 and L2 terminals at the rear of the NTU main housing, behind the test socket and not the L1 and L2 extension terminals at the rear of the splitter faceplate, pics in the thread linked below. Doesn't matter which wire goes to which terminal.
