WatchOS 8 battery drain

Anyone see a major drain in battery overnight after updating to 8?

I charge my watch an hour or so before bed to get it up 100%. It usually drops from 100% to around 95-92%. This morning is was 76% I did some Googling and apparently it was an issue with the beta back at the start of testing. Just wondering if anyone of you have had a similar issue? I have a Series 4.

I have the same problem. I have the series 4 and it goes from 100% to 50% in two hours. Not sure what could be the issue ut it seems to be affecting only the Series 4.

I gave mine a recharge yesterday morning and it was fine for the day. However, I did my usual pre sleep charge last night and checked this morning and once again, down to 78%. The watch is in sleep mode.. so I have no idea what's causing it. Very frustrating.

Had this happen before. Try re-pairing the watch to your phone and it should solve it.

i would unpair and repair the watch and set it up as new to test and see if that resolves it.
