Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

New car colours/paint - meh?

I've been noticing a lot of newish cars (say about 2015 on) are in a colour/paint finish that, to my taste is very meh - like why would one buy/spec a new car like this.

The colours I'm talking about are all non metallic. In very a bland palette, like cream, grey, light blue. Compared to other, older non metallic paint jobs, they seem very dull, lack a 'pop' etc, very 'flat'. I hope you will know what I mean from this vague description.

What is the story with this? A cheaper option, a fashion, some new eco paint? I just can't believe someone would choose this over a metallic or a non metallic with a bit of shine and luster?

For some people it's personal choice, for some colour simply is not important and for others is just down to cost.
