If you won the euro millions and after you had a good time, what test cases would you bring or give funding to?

IANAL so excuse the wording but I'm sure you know what I mean

You can win all the money you want, but, it's important to note that unless you have a bona fide interest encouraging or funding a test case would be illegal, so that important point aside....

the law (well, i think it's an SI) that you need permission from a government department to plant an area of woodland any greater that (IIRC) 0.1Ha.

I suppose some issues of constitutionality relating to champerty could potentially be argued, but, before that happens you would have the issue of establishing your locus standi to take your constitutional challenge in the first place, but, the Supreme Court in 2017 in the Persona case found champerty laws not to be an interference with the constitutional right of access to the courts, it also noted that even had there been that it would not necessarily follow that the solution would be to materially change the law of champerty.

I never day-dream about winning the lotto or inheriting money as a lifestyle choice. If I want something I work out a way of saving up to buy it.

Sorry but I never day dream about the lotto either. But the nonsense that you would go after someone for buying you a ticket is just that. If you were gifted a ticket and won , be honest you'd spent the money just like anyone else.

More than just winning the lottery, if I was promoted to leader of the world and every person in it, I would scrap the adversarial system where it exists and replace with the inquisitorial system!
