Is swappie.com a dodgy site? I cannot use my BOI credit card on it

It says 'There was a problem processing your payment'. Their help section recommends 'contacting your bank and check whether payments to Finland are allowed'. Can anyone advise? Thanks

Is there anyone actually at that Irish number? Spent half an hour going down a rabbit hole of 'please choose 1, please choose 2, please choose 3.....'. Who can I talk to about 3DS Authentication? Swappie are saying that 'Your bank should be sending you a code to verify your payment, and unfortunately it seems your payment is timing out before this occurs.'

Thanks for checking back with us on this. It should be possible to use the credit card worldwide where Mastercard is accepted.

Can we just check the error message on the site when it is trying to process payment?

When purchasing, is it prompting you to approve payment via SCA- https://www.bankofireland.com/sca/ If this is the case, have you the Mobile App set up and enabled push notifications on your device?

I was just on with your support team there for half an hour. They said they were transferring me to someone else but seem to have hung up on me instead.

I am not getting a prompt to approve payment via SCA when trying to purchase.

I have the mobile app set up and notifications enabled but I am not getting anything there either.

Anyone? Any reason why I was hung up on yesterday after half an hour looking for help on trying to use my credit card online? I still can't use either credit card or debit card because BOI is not sending out 3DS Authentication. Do I have to go through the whole 'please choose 1, please choose 2, please choose 3...' rigmarole again?
