and then laughing their socks off that people smart enough to be able to type fall for it all and spread it?

for example, the Batteries in birds.

I mean, you can imagine the CT Master group meeting up in a forum somewhere and having a bet to see who can come up with the most outlandish claims and the first to 100 shares wins.......

    Yes.

There is money be made from creating fake stories. Something as inoccuous as the likes of Waterford Whispers, turn the dial up a few levels more, make the stories a bit less obviously nonsense and watch the money roll in.

Most recent one I heard is that the fuel crisis in UK is deliberate to offload all the stagnant fuel sitting unused for months in tanks because people are not using their cars as much with work from home, plausable ish.

Is fuel sitting stagnant a problem?

Prices dropped significantly back in April 2020 when people were genuinely not driving anywhere and storage was beginning to become an issue. Prices are back up to their highest levels again now and everyone is back to doing their regular activities and working back in their offices. There certainly isn't a lot of vehicles sat around doing nothing for the last month that might cause some kind of storage issues that need to be resolved by fake HGV driver shortages.

There is a genuine shortage of HGV drivers across multiple supply chains. BP said that they couldn't get fuel to a very small number of stations last week. The media got all excited about that and shouted about a fuel shortage from the rooftops. People then start forming queues for petrol and caused a fuel shortage. Until the media screamed about a very small issue with a small number of stations for one brand there wasn't an issue.

It will all be sorted just as soon as people stop panicking about it.

i think conspiracy theories are great, they leave just a little tiny amount of doubt in your mind to keep you wondering.......keep them coming.

That's how most of them work, create a little doubt and let someone's imagination do the rest.

He still seems pretty well sheep dipped, if he abandons Q he'll just find a shiny new fantasy to take part in.
