Wondering what this might be. Terrible picture. The eggs are a brilliant gold/copper colour photo doesnt do them justice. Moth maybe?.

Getting a bit late in the year but do you not think they are baby spiders (or eggs) she is guarding?

I dont think its a spider I only count 6 legs unless shes hiding the other 2 under herself. Looks like she's guarding them alright.

So upon investigation it appears to be a species of flightless moth called a Vapourer. The eggs over winter and hatch into these mad looking yokes.
