Cleaning Lime Plaster off Windows frame

On a new build, the lime plaster/render got on the window frames. They are Aluclad Window frames rather than PVC. The window frames haven’t been cleaned since and now there seems to be a white residue all over the frames. When we wet them they look lovely but as soon as they dry the white appears again. Any idea what I can…
