Gas canisters for airbag jackets - where to find

I need to replace the upper one 35g, I got the one below it 38g (hard to find on internet), but the bigger problem is that that the 38g has a much narrower neck than the 35g (ironically!), so the 38g is useless (maybe I can find a tyre inflater yoke that it would suit so its not a complete write off). Anyone know somewhere good to buy these? I heard of a lad in Maynooth selling them but couldn't find his details. Will also need to figure out the re-assembly, but first things first. Also, not sure if there are standard sizes or what, its a bit of a shot in the dark buying off the internet, no-one putting up decent specs of what products are.

I was able to find a bunch of sources on Google just by typing in the description you provided above...

Locally... Try bike shops that sell mountain bikes... Even Halfords should have them... They are used for tyre inflation.

maybe the above but there is no mention of threading size

just looking at the oxford ones on visor shop and they are listed as 16g but the threading ( threaded cartridges (3/8'' - 24 UNF) )

so unless the cartridge have the threading listed ?

Yep, but it is hard to know what you are buying, there don't appear to be standard thread sizes & adds don't list them.

Start with the information listed in the manual for the vest, or from the original canister... The specs I've found are different from what you're using...

Would the manufacturer of the AirBag jacket or the retailer you bought it from not be a better person to talk to? They could have local suppliers or an online option. For a safety device you want to be sure it'll work when you need it.
