Credit union transfer

I know it's possible to transfer an account from one credit union to another but is it possible to transfer a loan the same way you can transfer a mortgage?

Generally no - you would be creating an account in the new credit union, taking out a new loan and then paying off the old one - thats how mortgage transfers work too
