Smart LED bulbs vs non smart

Has anyone here noticed any real difference in their energy cost by using smart bulbs vs standard LED bulbs? There is obviously an up front cost but does it pay for itself with the saving or do most people have smart bulbs for the functionality rather than potential cost savings?

I do not think Smart LED bulbs are used for their cost saving. Most smart and non smart LEDs are below 15W the only benefit of smart one is automation.
