Application Form - Tips & Advice

Hi All,

Wanted to spin up a thread in advance of the new campaign, as we know, the application is often sent off very quickly after the campaign kicks off and people often find themselves without having put as much thought into theirs as they would have liked to.

There is lots of info spread across the years worth of threads here, but any tips or advice would be very welcome I'm sure.

Is the application form before or after the first aptitude test or are they hand in hand at the initial launch of the new campaign?

Also is the application form, Garda Trainee (Form B)?

The applicantion form is before Stage 1 (Aptitude Tests, etc) and forms the the very first part of the application process.

Any and all people who return a completed form, are then invited to sit Stage 1, at which point the competition begins.

The initial application form is known as Form A, Form B is your vetting information which is now only supplied around the time of interviews (Stage 3), I think. I think it used to go through earlier in the past.
