Anyone played recently? Heard it wasnt as 'dry' as previous years due to lack of sanding. Wondering if its worth a visit this weekend. Thx.

Unfortunately Castlemartyr has been one of wettest winter courses in Cork over the past 2 years.

It was very soft 2 and 3 weekends ago but it had dried out a lot for yesterday and Saturday. It is 1 heavy downpour away from being very soft again but if it stays dry for the week then it will be in good condition this weekend.

The 2nd and 4th holes have the softest fairways but once you get past them the ground is a lot firmer

has anyone played blarney recently? Was thinking of booking a society outing there but not been out there in a good few years. Dunno what the condition of the place is like.
