Humidifier

fits

Can anyone recommend a humidifier for a five year old boy who is badly affected by colds and his breathing and sleep are interrupted. We live in a modern warm well ventilated house but the air would be very dry.

im so confused with all the options of warm/cold/saline etc.

We live in a modern house which is well insulated so the air could be quite dry.

It did exactly what it was supposed to do. It was quiet and the mist level was very adjustable.

Open the window also for a while Fits.Is it croupy??Temple St recommend that hot to cold air as being good for them too.

We have these modern windows that cluster flies love to live in at this time of year. Was hoovered at weekend but loads of flies came in when I opened window last night. Buzzing around. Nuisance!

It’s not croup this time although he gets that too. I think it’s his adenoids and nasal congestion.

Ah right.There is nothing worse, we have had a couple of scares with our youngest and breathing.I usually throw on a calpol plug in and we did have a Vicks steamer although I wasn't sure if that made the nose worse by steaming up the room.Kintaro's one looks interesting, may be more effective.

Keeping the room cool definitely helps.

That's a tough one to answer. We didn't get it as she had any breathing difficulties, moreso that we felt the room was probably a little dry so it was more a precautionary measure than anything else. Sorry fits, I know that's not really very helpful.

Well I bought this one yesterday and he slept from 8 to 6:30. Maybe he was getting better anyway but I think it helped. Not cheap though
