Engagement rings Cork

    Hi, anyone have recommendations for the best jewellers to buy an engagement ring from in Cork? Planning to pop the question in the near future. Going to go down the route of a token ring and if the answer is yes then take her shopping for a ring that she likes. I have no clue what ring she would like and I know she doesn't either. Just wondering if anyone has any experiences to share from the Cork or Kerry regions or recommendations for good jewellers?

    There are numerous jewelers in Cork and while my ring didnt come from there I have lots of friends who did.

    If she likes something more vintage, there are also stores that cater for that,

    Aoife O'Mahony in Skibbereen is a goldsmith, she makes rings to your specification and is really good to talk through options and the design. She made our wedding rings from zoom consultations during lockdown, it wasn't ideal but she was way more helpful than any of the big jewellers. Highly recommend!

    Edit: I also expected it to be a lot more expensive to get them made and it ended up around the same price as anywhere where you're buying one off the shelf.
