Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi All,

If things keep going with COVID numbers, it looks like Choirs will not be able to sing indoors this Christmas.

So looking for an outdoor, covered (weatherproof) and public venue in North or Central Dublin that 40-odd people can sing their hearts out to passer-bys. Easy access to public transport or lots of parking.

is this for carol singing? i'd suspect that the requirements of the venue might preclude lots of passers-by?

Yes, for carol singing. I’m thinking somewhere public like Wolfe Tone Square beside the Jervis Centre but possibly with decent cover in case it’s raining.

I just need a list of possible venues. Getting permission to perform there I can hopefully get later.

stephens green would meet the 'north or central dublin' brief there. any large, exposed lobbies? e.g. the stephens green shopping centre lobby - though 40 singers would be a tough sell.

Thanks so far. Like the St Stephens Green suggestion. I was also thinking Howth Pier/Market but still trying to find a covered area.
